An introduction to legal principles and their relationships to business organizations. Representative topics include the constitutional authority to regulate business, consumer law, employment and labor relations law, torts and crimes related to business,ntellectual property. Prerequisite: BUS 202. This course explores, among other things, bankruptcy, agency, real and personal property, partnerships, corporations, sales, secured transactions, legal liability of accountants, and the Securities Acts of 1933 and 1934.
