Applied Mathematics at Keuka College

The applied mathematics minor is designed for students in majors where a strong background in mathematics and its applications is necessary, or who are interested in pursuing graduate work in math-intensive areas of other disciplines, for example biostatistics, mathematical biology, or bioinformatics. It provides an alternate but complementary track to the more theoretical mathematical focus of the "pure" math minor. This sequence of courses can also provide an enhanced mathematics background for students pursuing graduate work in business and the social sciences.
