Medical Technology at Keuka College

The bachelor of science in medical technology prepares students for eligibility to take the certification examination of the American Society of Clinical Pathologists. The program includes three years of study at Keuka followed by 12 months of study in a school of medical technology approved by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists. Satisfactory completion of the work in any school approved by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists fulfills the clinical requirements. A student who completes a baccalaureate degree in biology or biochemistry and has the appropriate prerequisites may also apply to any school of medical technology approved by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists for advanced study in preparation for the certification exam.

In addition, Keuka College has a transfer articulation agreement with the medical technology program at Rochester General Hospital. For more information about this program, contact Nancy Mitchell, program director at Rochester General Hospital.
