Lightner Library

Librarian in a row of booksKeuka College’s Lightner Library has a strong commitment to providing reference service to ASAP students and is the best place to find information for a research paper or your action research project. You may not be able to visit Lightner Library, but our extensive list of full text, online databases and electronic books are all accessible from home. EBSCOHost, Proquest and LexisNexis are just three of the online databases where you can find scholarly, academic information from magazines, journals and newspapers. NetLibrary is an online database of more than 8,000 full-text books.

ASAP librarian, Melodye Campbell has designed a gateway to Lightner’s online services called a LibGuide, http://libguides.keuka.edu/ASAP. The ASAP Libguide has sections devoted to helping you learn about different types of information resources; how to find books and how to find articles in the online databases; you will also find links to recommended websites; and you can learn how to format your papers and references using APA style. Simply click on the links within each section to access these information resources.

For assistance with finding books, using the online databases or preparing APA citations, you can contact her by phone (315) 279-5219 or e-mail, mcampbel@keuka.edu.
