Moodle- What is it?

Moodle is a course management software designed to serve as an online classroom for the distance education student, and an enhanced content delivery system for traditional classroom settings. Students can access course syllabi, submit homework assignments, chat and engage in discussion with classmates, complete an entire course online, and obtain instructor contact information.

Logging In and Accessing Course Material

Keuka College's Moodle page can be accessed at http://online.keuka.edu

  • Log in using your Keuka username and password. Your username is the same as your Keuka e-mail--everything to the left of the @ symbol--example, jstudent.
  • The first time you log in, fill out and submit your student profile.
  • To find your courses, go to the Moodle homepage and scroll down to find your cohort and see a list of available courses in the center frame.
  • To access your course materials, you must provide an access code (indicated by a key icon to the right). Your professor will send you the access code, along with a course introduction approx. one week before the course begins. If you don't receive it, or you've registered for the class less than 7 days prior to the start date, e-mail asap_moodle@keuka.edu
