Undergraduate Admissions

Programs begin three times each year, with start dates scheduled in January, May and August. Bachelor's programs run on a year-round basis, completing in approximately 20 to 22 months. However, classes may be delayed to the next term if there is insufficient enrollment in a particular program and/or location. Ideal cohort size is 8-15 students. ASAP students are often considered full time for financial aid purposes.

Application Process

Candidates are encouraged to apply early in order facilitate the planning process for both student and Keuka College. Application deadline is the first day of the month in which classes are scheduled to start. For example, applications are due on August 1 for classes beginning in August. Late applications will be considered based on cohort enrollment.

  • Complete the ASAP Application for Admission form and send to: Keuka College Center for Professional Studies, One Keuka Business Park, Penn Yan, NY 14527.
  • Send a transcript request form to each educational institution previously attended. Be sure to check with the registrar’s office of each institution for the cost of their transcript fee. After transcripts have been received and evaluated by the Keuka College registrar's office, candidates will receive an “Evaluation of Transfer Credit” by mail.
  • Apply for financial aid (if applicable). This should be completed at the time of application. Failure to apply on a timely basis may delay the financial aid award and start of program.

Registration and Startup

  • Upon acceptance to the program, candidates will be mailed a registration form, which must be signed and returned prior to attending orientation.
  • Orientation will take place in two parts: Part I is completed online and Part II takes place at the Keuka College campus in Keuka Park on a date determined prior to the start of each term.

Conditional Acceptance

  • Students with fewer than 60 credits may apply to either the criminal justice systems, organizational management, social work or nursing programs. Acceptance is based on completion and submission of an educational plan that details how and when additional coursework will be completed. Applicants are required to meet and/or discuss the details of this plan with the enrollment coordinator.
  • Additional coursework required for conditional acceptance is in addition to the course curriculum. Applicants recognize there are additional costs and time commitments required for these courses.
  • Other considerations that may be evaluated include writing skills, work history, and evaluation of transfer credit.
